Description
Neuschwanstein Castle, completed in 1892 lies in SW Bavaria, Germany inspired Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle. It was built by and for King Ludwig II of Bavaria who only slept in the castle 11 nights before he died. This image was taken from Maria's Bridge named after Ludwig's Mother, Marie Friederike of Prussia. I didn't know I was afraid of heights until I stepped to the middle of the bridge to get this wonderful image then it was a nightmare. However the shot made up for the fright of the situation.
